Like most people, I have beliefs and strong opinions, but every once in a while I like to remind myself that, even when I know, I can never be certain. I can’t imagine a state in which I could ever be certain about anything. I believe even if I were to know everything, I still could never be certain.

My name is Billy and welcome to my site. I like to think a lot, and I like figuring out how things work. This site allows me to share those thoughts, and if nothing else, expel them from my brain to make room for new ones. You may not agree with the things I say, and that’s completely fine. Like I said, I’m not claiming to know anything for certain. You might even be like, “What’s the point?” Maybe you have more important things to do or think about—all completely fine.
